How Safety Credits work
Safety Credits cover tailored work such as SOPs, JSEAs, risk assessments, SWMS, contractor prequal packs, extra training sessions, emergency drills and tender responses. Sessions and allowances already listed in your plan do not use credits; anything extra does. Credits are valid for 12 months from your start date.
What does 1 credit buy?
- 0.5 credit: tailored toolbox talk with sign-on sheet; simple checklist or pre-start form
- 1 credit: Safe Work Procedure (SOP); JSEA; chemical, manual handling, or plant/equipment risk assessment; contractor prequalification pack; site-specific inspection checklist; extra tailored policy
- 2 credits: high-risk construction SWMS; live staff WHS training session; emergency plan review or drill; psychosocial risk assessment; tender WHS response
